St Aubyns Hosts Public Speaking Competition 2011
Friday 28 January 2011On Thursday evening St Aubyns hosted a public speaking competition in the School Chapel. Teams of three Year 7s and 8s from Brighton and Hove High, Brighton College Prep, Lancing Prep, Roedean and St Aubyns took part. Much prior competition had clearly occurred at each school to select the teams for the evening. Chapel Choir sings evensong at Windsor Castle
Thursday 12 May 2011On Wednesday 11th May the Chapel Choir had the privilege of singing choral evensong at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. This royal chapel, the home of the Order of the Garter, is a beautiful setting and the children rose to the occasion splendidly just as they did last year. The choir provided the treble and alto lines and some of the boys sang the lower parts as well. St Aubyns pupil in award winning feature film
Monday 17 October 2011Former St Aubyns School pupil Perry Eggleton has taken the lead role in British film 'Will', nationally released this month. Perry, who was at St Aubyns from September 2004 until July 2011, plays eleven-year-old Will Brennan, the world’s biggest Liverpool football fan, who in the wake of his father’s death (played by Damian Lewis), decides to honour his father’s dream to set off to one of Liverpool’s most famous successes, the 2005 Champions League Final in Istanbul.
