Arts Express - 'The Night Sky'
Thursday 14 October 2010The day started with astronauts, aliens, black holes, mad professors, Buzz Lightyears, Luke Sky Walkers and the odd shooting star flying around the school. Nearly every child from Nursery up to Year 8 had come dressed up for the day and this added to the unique and fun feel of the day. We had 5 consecutive workshops taking place throughout the day giving the children the opportunity to look at the Night Sky from some different perspectives…
Celebrity Cricket 'Any Questions'
Wednesday 24 November 2010On the morning of Saturday 20th November more than 200 people gathered in the Sports Hall at St Aubyns School in Rottingdean for a cricket-themed ‘Any Questions’ event. The morning was organised by Rupert Webb, Sussex wicketkeeper from 1948-1960, in order to raise funds for Sussex Cricket Archivists and St Margaret’s Church…
