St Aubyns fencer strikes gold

Year 6 pupil, Theo Richenberg, is now South East of England U12 Foil Champion Friday 26 February 2010

The South East of England now has a new U12 Foil Champion! Without losing a single fight, Theo Richenberg (Year 6) won the South East of England Championships over half term and as a result, Theo has qualified for the national finals in May. The previous day, Theo took part in the Sherwood Leon Paul Tournament and reached the semi-finals. Theo is now ranked 12th in Great Britain.

Theo has also been made team captain of the Sussex Scorpion Fencing Club, the largest club of its kind in the U.K., which is based at St Aubyns.
