Peter Pan
Pre Prep Drama Club Summer Show Tuesday 23 June 2009Peter Pan
On Monday 22nd June, the Pre-Prep Drama Club outshone themselves with their most fantastic performance of Peter Pan! They had rehearsed hard all term, learnt their lines well and put a lot of effort into their costumes. I was delighted with all the hard work they put into the show and the overall quality of performance.
The narrators, Kate and Grace, led the show with confidence and spoke loudly and clearly throughout. Wendy, John and Michael looked the part and gave some lovely performances as they made their way out of the Nursery to Neverland. Peter Pan and Tinkerbell were lots of fun. Nicole blowing a raspberry at Lalita was one of the highlights of the show for me! The Indians looked fantastic and Norphel gave a convincing performance as the Chief. The Lost Boys did some wonderful acting as they shot Wendy down out of the sky, and as they were attacked by the Indians. The Pirates were also very good and, along with the Crocodile, helped to make the final scenes of the play most entertaining.
Finally, thank you to Miss Behdad for the music which added a whole new dimension to the annual show. Thank you to George and Amber, our Year 7s, who did the lights, and thank you to Mrs McChrystal and Mrs Calderwood who helped the Year 2s create the magical set. I was so proud of everyone and wish to congratulate all the members of the Pre-Prep Drama club who made the show such a success.
