Boarding Inspection 2009

St Aubyns receives accolade of 'Outstanding' from Ofsted Wednesday 15 April 2009

At the start of March St Aubyns was visited for a couple of days by an inspector from the Social Care division of Ofsted.

This is part of a process whereby schools are inspected every three years. The report has now been published and we are delighted that we have received the highest possible rating of 'Outstanding'. This is a huge credit to the care and organisation provided by the Housemaster, Mr Ndau, and the Matron, Miss Saunders. You can read the report by following the link below.

Boarding Inspection Report (Ofsted - March 2009)

St Aubyns has a small but thriving boarding community comprising a mixture of weekly and flexi-boarders. Regular flexi-boarding is encouraged, but we are very happy to welcome pupils into the boarding house for one off nights. Many parents appreciate the opportunity to have their children cared for in an environment they know where work will be supervised and good activities and a happy atmosphere will be provided.
