St Mary's Hall closure
Places available at St Aubyns Wednesday 25 February 2009The announcement of the closure of St Mary's Hall is sad news and the sympathies of all at St Aubyns are with Mrs Meek, her staff and the pupils and families of the school. St Aubyns has had a good relationship with this senior girls' school for a number of years with a number of our girls looking at it as a destination for entry at Year 9.
In the current situation I am aware that a number of families will be wondering about the next steps to take. I would invite them to visit St Aubyns as we share much of the same small school community ethos which St Mary's Hall represented. St Aubyns offers co-education from Nursery to Year 8 and the opportunity to be prepared for entry to any senior school locally or further afield. I would be very happy to discuss arrangements to make the transition from St Mary's Hall to St Aubyns as straightforward as possible through scholarships or bursaries where these may be appropriate.
