Prep Schools Midwinter Swimming Gala

On Tuesday 20th January 2009 a group children from Years 5-8 went to Lancing College to compete in the 5th annual Mid Winter Swimming Gala.  For the past few years we have been attending this event and each year we have improved and this year was no exception.  Being a small prep school who only swim in the summer term, we were proud to be able to compete and hold our own against some of the bigger and more experienced schools.…

On Tuesday 30th June, the whole school took part in our last Arts Express Day of the year, and what a successful day it was! The children took part in 4 fantastic workshops – all with a Carnival theme. We had visiting professional artists who led the workshops, enabling the children to have four very different creative experiences, precisely what Arts Express is about! On Thursday 27th November St Aubyns welcomed pupils from other local schools for one of the regular Gifted and Talented workshops that have recently been established. The aim of these days is to stretch academically more able children by going 'off curiculum' and helping to interact with similarly able children from other schools.
