St Aubyns Children win National Writing Competition
Year 7 Children receive trophy from Chapter One Promotions Tuesday 28 October 2008Last year St Aubyns children entered a national creative writing competition organised by Chapter One Promotions. Five children had their work selected to be included in an anthology of children's writing and the St Aubyns entries were judged the winners of the Best School Trophy.
Yesterday Ms Johanna Bertie from Chapter One Promotions visited St Aubyns to present the trophy. She spoke of how impressed the judges had been by the imagination and creativity of the work entered. She also donated £200 worth of books which are now on display in the school library.
