Year 8 Success 2007-8

The Class of 2008 at St Aubyns achieved great success in their entry and scholarship exams to senior schools. Friday 22 August 2008

St Aubyns prides itself on its independence from any senior school and its ability to prepare children for entry and transition to a wide range of senior schools in Sussex and further afield.

Of the twenty-eight children in the year 14 won awards to their next school and amassed twenty-three awards between them. These awards came in many areas – Academic, Sport, Music, Drama, Art and All-Rounder – and to a wide range of schools.

All of the children passed the Common Entrance or other entry exams to their chosen schools and many achieved some excellent grades. In all twelve different senior schools will be welcoming St Aubyns pupils in September – Brighton College, Lancing, Hurstpierpoint, Roedean, St Bede’s, Worth, Newlands, Lewes Old Grammar, Lewes Priory, More House, Eastbourne, Steyning Grammar.
