Communication
At St Aubyns we endeavour to maintain regular communication with parents.
The Form Tutor is the primary point of contact whether for a brief word, an e-mail or a longer appointment. Senior staff and the Headmaster also regularly meet with parents to discuss progress and issues that may arise.
We have a weekly newsletter called The Bugle which is published on the school website every Friday. Parents are sent an e-mail which links them to the latest issue.
We have a “parents fax” in the staff room.
All staff have e-mail addresses (see Contact).
Parent Consultations and Reports
Regular communication with parents about their children's progress is formally carried out through Grades for attainment and effort sent home every three or four weeks, through termly reports (with detailed comments by subject), and at Parent Consultation evenings.
There are two Parent Consultation evenings for each year group every year.
